Arrive in Beijing, China’s historic capital. Your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel.

The rest of the day is free for you to rest, recover from your journey, or take a short walk near your hotel.

Start your day at Tiananmen Square, one of Beijing’s most symbolic landmarks.

Continue to the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Walk through grand halls, palace gates, and courtyards while your guide explains China’s imperial history.

After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. The surrounding park is also a lively place to see local Beijing life.

Drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most scenic and well-preserved sections near Beijing. Take a cable car or chairlift up and enjoy time walking along the ancient wall and watchtowers.

In the afternoon, return to Beijing and explore the old hutong neighborhoods. Walk through narrow lanes, see traditional courtyard homes, and learn about daily life in old Beijing.

Transfer to the railway station or airport for your journey to Xi'an, one of China’s most important ancient capitals.

Visit the Terracotta Warriors, one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries. See thousands of life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots built to guard China’s first emperor.

Return to the city to visit the ancient Xi'an City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. You may walk or cycle along part of the wall if time allows.

Later, explore the Muslim Quarter, known for lively food streets, local snacks, and a rich cultural atmosphere.

Take a flight or train from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie, a dramatic mountain destination famous for sandstone pillars, forested peaks, and scenery that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest before your mountain sightseeing begins.

Spend the day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, known for its towering quartz-sandstone pillars and deep forest scenery.

Visit the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you can see some of the most iconic Avatar-style peaks. Continue to scenic viewpoints such as Tianzi Mountain or related areas depending on weather, crowd levels, and park conditions.

Your guide will help arrange the best route so you can enjoy the highlights without unnecessary backtracking.

Visit Tianmen Mountain, one of Zhangjiajie’s most famous landmarks. Take the cable car up the mountain and enjoy views of cliffs, valleys, and winding roads below.

Walk along the cliffside paths and, if open, experience the glass walkway. Continue to Tianmen Cave, also known as Heaven’s Gate, a natural arch high in the mountain.

After the visit, return to the city and prepare for your onward journey.

Transfer to the airport or railway station for your journey to Shanghai, China’s most dynamic modern city.

Visit Yu Garden, a classic Chinese garden with elegant pavilions, ponds, rockeries, and old Shanghai atmosphere.

Continue to the Bund, where historic waterfront buildings face the modern skyline of Pudong. Depending on your departure time, you may also visit the French Concession, Shanghai Tower, or a local market.

After sightseeing, your private driver will transfer you to the airport or train station for departure.
