Today's highlight is visiting MutianyuThe Great Wall, which is one of the most spectacular and well preserved historical sites in China, and is equipped with a round-trip cable car, enhancing the viewing experience.. You will glide through lush valleys while climbing, admiring the city walls winding through continuous mountain ranges like stone dragons.
Explore the Disappearing Hutongs -Old style courtyard residences line both sides of Beijing's historic footpaths. Walk through these narrow alleys, meet local families, learn about their traditional way of life, and how they protect their homes and culture.

Take the high-speed train from Beijing West Railway Station to Xi'an North Railway Station at noon. The final booking confirmation will display the train number and departure time.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you are about to start your day's visit. Your tour guide will pick you up at the hotel, and you will set off to visit and explore the horse figurines. We will avoid crowds and go directly to the location where Xi Jinping became famous worldwide. The Terra Cotta WarriorsCorps is often called the eighth wonder of the world. Pit 1 displays a fully equipped military formation, including vanguard, main force, and flank. In Deep Pit 2, the warriors are seen as discovered - broken yet captivating.
After the awesome scale of the soldiers, we will have a deserved lunch in the local restaurant. This is your opportunity to replenish energy with the bold and rich flavors of Shaanxi cuisine. Then, we will return to the city center and climb the magnificent ancient city wall. The existing city walls were built during the Ming Dynasty (14th century), but were directly built on the foundation of the older Tang Dynasty imperial city walls. You are actually walking in the footsteps of an older capital city, Chang'an.

Today is your free day to explore the charm of Xi'an, a city with a long history. Take a train from Xi'an to Chengdu.
Upon arrival in Chengdu, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel, assisting with check-in procedures. Since there is no fixed itinerary today, you are free to arrange your own activities and meals.

Start your day at the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center. Don't miss the Moon Delivery Room (prepared for plush cubs) and Villa 1 and Villa 2 (where you can watch adult pandas gnaw on bamboo or leisurely stroll around - popular pandas like Huahua often become the focus of the entire venue). You may also see red pandas or golden pheasants here.

It is recommended to arrive before 8:30 in the morning - this is the golden time for pandas: they are most active during breakfast, eating bamboo or playing, and the weather is not yet hot.

Have lunch at a local restaurantto prepare for the morning tour.. Then go directly to the Haiming Teahouse in People's Park. Sitting on a bamboo chair, ordering a cup of lidded tea (you can try Blue Beach Drifting Snow or Zhuyeqing), feeling the tranquility, watching locals play mahjong, chatting, or choosing the iconic Qing Dynasty style ear plucking service, enjoying unique deliciousness.

In the evening, take a stroll through Guanzhai Lane (Guanfeng, Jingxiang), which is a well preserved Qing Dynasty street.. Strolling along the cobblestone streets, admiring the gray brick buildings, and tasting Chengdu's classic cuisine: spicy Dandan noodles, savory rabbit heads, or skewers (Sichuan). If time permits, you can end a Sichuan opera face changing performance and enjoy the warm night lights in the alley.
After today's tour, the tour guide will escort you back to the hotel to rest.

Take a one hour drive from the hotel to the dock, board a four-star cruise ship (departing from Guilin at approximately 9:30am, 4.5h), and stroll through the iconic karst scenery of Li River.. Comfortable seats and buffet lunch are provided on board - enjoying local cuisine while admiring Huangbu Shoal (a classic landscape of green mountains reflecting water, printed with RMB 20 banknotes). Start the day with a 3-hour rural bike ride - choose a comfortable hybrid bike (rent a car near West Street). Riding along the Yulong River bank, you will pass by lush rice fields, stone bridges, and traditional villages where locals hang corn or take care of fruit trees. Frequently stopping to capture the towering karst peaks from the green space - the morning light softens the scenery, making it even more picturesque. Avoid busy roads; Choose a quiet village path and experience the peaceful atmosphere.
Go to a well-known local restaurant (you can choose a restaurant near Yulong River or West Street that locals often go to), enjoy Yangshuo's most famous beer fish as a lunch drink.
In the afternoon, attend a3-hour hands-on course (held in a local small kitchen or outdoor courtyard) that starts around 3pm.. Firstly, you will go to the nearby wet market (if time permits) to pick fresh ingredients such as bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and herbs and learn how to select the best agricultural products like the locals.

Then, you will choose 2-3 dishes from the recipe.. The chef will guide you in knife techniques and seasoning adjustments (adjust the spiciness according to taste!). After finishing your meal, sit down and enjoy the food you made. Finally, attach a copy of the recipe and recreate these dishes at home.
