Take a train from Chengdu East Railway Station to Jiuzhaigou Valley

JiuzhaigouLocated in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, it is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and a National 5A Scenic Area.. Its name comes from nine Tibetan villages scattered throughout the valley. It is equipped with eco-friendly boardwalks and sightseeing buses, allowing visitors to leisurely hike and appreciate the natural beauty, or conveniently visit major attractions. Jiuzhai Valley is indeed an ideal destination to reconnect with nature and rejuvenate the soul.
Shuzheng Valley
Shuzheng Valley forms the lower branch of the "Y" shaped layout of Jiuzhaigou Valley, extending about 14 kilometers from the valley mouth to the Norilang Waterfall. There are over 40 lakes in the lake, accounting for about 40% of all lakes in Jiuzhai Valley.

Bonsai Shoalis the first shoal landscape that tourists encounter when entering the valley. Plants are scattered throughout shallow waters, resembling giant natural bonsai.
Shuzheng Waterfallis the first waterfall group in Jiuzhai Valley, with multiple layers of waterfalls cascading down, forming a magnificent scene.

Lize Valley
Rize Valley is the essence of Jiuzhai Valley, stretching about 18 kilometers and connecting Nuorilang Waterfall and the primeval forest.

Pearl ShoalThe waterfall is 200 meters wide and has a maximum drop of 40 meters, making it the most spectacular rapids in Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Zechawa Valley
Zechawa Valley stretches for about 18 kilometers and is known for its high-altitude lakes, peaceful scenery, and unique geological features. It is the highest and widest valley in Jiuzhaigou Valley, and a must visit place to experience the magnificent scenery of plateau lakes.

Changhuis the largest and highest lake in Jiuzhaigou Valley (3060 meters above sea level), winding in an "S" shape with deep and crystal clear water quality. The lake is surrounded by snow covered peaks and dense forests, never drying up or overflowing.

Five color poolKnown as the "pearl of Zechawa Valley", this small pool (only 5645 square meters) is the most dazzling among the colorful lakes in Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Huanglong Scenic Area is world-renowned for its "Four Wonders" - colorful ponds, snow capped peaks, deep valleys, and lush forests. Later today, you will take a high-speed train back to Chengdu.

As a panda keeper, you can learn more about this endangered species and take care of pandas under the guidance of experienced staff.
At around 8:30, you will arrive at the project center of the Wolong Panda Base and register. Please collect your volunteer pass, work uniform, and gloves. The pandas are still awake at this time, and you will start the panda keeper program and learn how to take care of them with the help of a guide.
A professional panda keeper will explain the relevant procedures to you. The guide will be present throughout the entire process, translate for you, and take photos to record your special experience. Under the guidance of a professional panda keeper, you will clean the giant panda enclosure and remove old bamboo. Feed the pandas with fresh bamboo, cakes, apples, and carrots.
You will earn your lunch by taking care of the pandas. Lunch will start at around 11:30 in the base's staff restaurant. You can prepare your food in advance in case you don't like the food there. After lunch, you can take a short break in the office or stroll around the base.
The program will resume around 13:00 in the afternoon. Then you will watch a 30-minute panda movie. You will learn how pandas mate, give birth, grow, and train in the wild. Clean the giant panda enclosure and remove the old bamboo you put in it in the morning. Feed the pandas with more fresh bamboo, cakes, apples, and carrots.
Afterwards, you will learn the ingredients needed to make a panda cake and how to make the cake yourself with the help of staff. You can make any shape you want. The ingredients will be prepared in advance.
If you take good care of them, you will receive a panda keeper certificate. Your panda keeper day will end around 3:30 in the afternoon.
Then you will drive back to Chengdu and arrive around 6:00 in the afternoon. If you need to transfer at the airport, please let us know at any time.
