Arrive in Xian, one of China’s most important ancient capitals and the starting point of the Silk Road. Your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel.

After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax. If you arrive early, you may take an easy walk near the hotel or explore the Muslim Quarter for local snacks and lively street atmosphere.

Visit the Terracotta Warriors, one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries. See thousands of life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots built to guard China’s first emperor.

Return to downtown Xian to visit the ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. You may walk or cycle along part of the wall if time and weather allow.

Later, explore the Muslim Quarter, known for lively food streets, local snacks, and a rich cultural atmosphere shaped by centuries of trade and migration.

Travel Tip

The Terracotta Warriors site involves a fair amount of walking. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Day 3

Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Local Culture and Departure

After breakfast, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of Xian’s most famous Buddhist landmarks and an important symbol of the city’s Tang Dynasty heritage.
