1. When is the best time to visit Xi'an?
The best time to go to Xi'an is summer and autumn. The best time to visit Xian is from March to May when the flowers are in full bloom, and from September to November when the weather is pleasant.
2. I am a business traveler, can I only go to Xi'an for a day or two?
One day, Xi Jinping emphasized that travel is suitable for business travelers. It is recommended to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, ride a bicycle around the ancient city wall, learn about ancient porcelain, visit the Shaanxi History Museum, and taste local food in the Muslim Quarter.
Even if you are not in Xi'an, you can fly back to the city from Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou in the morning.
If you have two days, it would be easier to stay one night in Xixi'an.
3. Should we take train or plane from Xi'an to other major cities?
Trains and planes are both convenient for travel between Xi'an and major cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Kunming, and Shanghai.
If the train journey exceeds six hours, it is recommended to take a plane, except for the journey from Xi'an to Lhasa. During the train journey from Xi'an to Lhasa, the scenery is extraordinary and worth seeing.
